The 3- through 7-iron use multiple materials (431 stainless-steel body and a high-strength hyper 17-4 steel face) to increase ball speed. The 431 stainless-steel short irons feature an undercut to concentrate weight in the heel and toe for forgiveness. A new sole design adds bounce to prevent digging.
Middle-Handicapper:
(M) “I’m amped! These irons are unlike any I’ve hit. I’m shocked at how well the ball comes off the face.” . . . “I’m unsure about the pumpkin orange, but the clubface is explosive, and I was able to control the distance. My mis-hits were masked well, too.”
Hot:
The amount of technology in this iron usually comes with a price tag that puts you deep in hock. Not so here. This iron will make people look seriously at Cobra again.
Not:
Rickie Fowler orange isn’t for everyone.
